While working at Grant Pools I was doing well. I was meeting people and making new friends. I was living with Jason and his Girlfriend and that was alright, but uncomfortable at times as they were doing couple stuff and I had no girlfriend to hang with. But, I made the best of it and soon moved on and moved in with one of the guys from grant pools named Bob he was a Vietnam veteran and interesting to live with to say the least. Mr. Grant was an awesome guy to work for and really took care of his workers it was 1998 or 1999 and the pool business was booming in SWF. We were digging three pools a day and I was working with the main guy named Milan, I was his helper and he was teaching me all of the tricks of laying out pools for the digging process. It was not simple stuff it involved geometry and math and measuring and it was precise work. I enjoyed it very much. On rainy days we couldn't do much construction work but cause Mr. Grant took care of his guys he always gave us the opportunity to go out with one of the pool cleaning girls from the pool cleaning service to help them on rainy days just to get our hours in. I always took this opportunity as it was easy money all you did was carry a pool brush or chemicals and drive around all day easy money. Well, little did I know a rainy day would change the course of my life. We were going through a rainy week and I was helping a woman named Diana. She was a blonde bombshell from the northeast and we got along just fine. She was a married woman and fun to work with. We became fast friends. She soon was quizzing me on my life story. It was Easter time and she said I have someone I think you should meet. I want you to come to my house for Easter Sunday. Well she had a Neighbor that was divorced and had two little girls that she wanted me to meet. I had nothing to loose so I agreed. So I guess you might say I was set up on a blind date. And, it was my first time on a blind date kinda I guess if an Easter Sunday Cookout counts as a date. As the story goes this woman spotted me at the local Publix before the event and called Diana on her cell phone and said I hope this guy buying flowers is the guy coming to meet me. Well as she followed me out of the parking lot by chance I headed strait to Diana's house and she realized I was the man she was to meet. She went into her home and was nervous to come over for the event. Well the flowers were for the host, and soon my future wife appeared from across the street and she was something to see, she was hot, but she had something tagging along that was just as beautiful as her two little girls Kaylee, and Megan. Kaylee was just around three years old and Megan still in diapers was about a year and a half. They were amazing, I couldn't stop thinking what idiot would leave these precious little gems. Well it didn't take long they were climbing all over me like a jungle gym we were in the pool and playing and having a grand time. I remember talking to Bridget that day and thinking this woman is beautiful and I want marry her I think. But, I would say it was Kaylee and Megan that stole my heart first. I had a Buddy named Paul and his mother invited me over that evening for Easter dinner. I told them all about the day I had. I told Paul and his mom that day I was gonna take care of those girls and marry their mother that day and that's eventually what I did. but,it took some convincing. But, anyway Bridget agreed to a first date and a relationship with its ups and downs and a marriage eventually four years later did happen.
